X-Ray
An X-ray is a quick, painless test that produces images of the structures inside your body — particularly your bones.
X-ray beams pass through your body, and they are absorbed in different amounts depending on the density of the material they pass through. Dense materials, such as bone and metal, show up as white on X-rays.
For some types of X-ray tests, a contrast medium — such as iodine or barium — is introduced into your body to provide greater detail on the images.

About Your Appointment
Please call our location which is most convenient to you to schedule an appointment. If you require an emergency or immediate appointment, we will do everything possible to schedule you as soon as possible
- Please bring your requisition form and your valid Health Card
- Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment to complete registration
- If you arrive late, your appointment may have to be rescheduled
- If you cannot make your appointment, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance
